2014 Issues Gone: In 2015 the GOP Will Pay Back in Spades

Relief and Justice Under Law Here?  Don't Even Think About It

The tough year of 2014 is in the history books. The mid-term is over. The GOP takes total control in Congress very shortly. Those nasty fights and issues all gone, right? Yeah, right. Hang on tight. It’s review time. A brand new order of fireworks and legislative bombs have been restocked in the GOP House and Senate arsenals. Info round up follows – enjoy. But fair warning: It ain't gonna be pretty. A few key topics in the article follow. Dig around other sources as I am sure you can find more down wind on the GOP’s rifle range that we’ll all have to contend with. As I said, it’s gonna be ugly and nasty (I hope I am wrong, but don’t think). Nevertheless, it may not be such a happy new year after all.

1.  Lies About Voter Fraud, Voter Suppression, and Attacks on Voting Rights (* just in time to influence 2016 - actually the GOP's plan all along)

2.  Right-Wing Media Will Push Repeal of Obama's Executive Action on Immigration (* and make the issue worse - bet on it

3.  Hobby Lobby Was Just The Beginning (* re: A woman's right to choose)

4.  Will Media Better Cover Campaign Finance Deregulation in Advance of the 2016 Presidential Election? (* my first hunch: probably not - big money benefits big media, too)

5.  Right-Wing Attempt to Gut the Affordable Care Act (Obama-care) Will Be Decided in 2015 (* this is the GOP's big enchilada)

6.  Obama Administration's Nominees Will Face More Obstruction From the Republican-Controlled Senate (* cooperation: we don't need no stinkin' cooperation)

7.  Supreme Court May Continue to Weaken Affirmative Action (* back to the future for sure - balls to the walls as it were - the key question: Why?)

8.  "Tort Reform" Will Reappear in 2015: Assault on Access to Justice Will Continue (* this has been long-term GOP goal for years)

Thanks for stopping by.
